My daily prayer time begins with communion–I take communion every morning!  What a great way to start your day -Remembering what the Lord has done for us!  Here is my full daily time with the Lord. It gives you a great guide and only takes 5 minutes! I give you the reason for doing these things with verses of the Bible.

1.  Take communion – Remembering what He did for us

1 Corinthians 10:16-18 (KJV)

16  The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
17  For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
18  Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

Luke 22:17-20 (KJV)
17  And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
18  For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19  And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20  Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

2.  Ask the Lord to assign the angels to you. What we are doing is appropriating the protection of our LIVING GOD!

Psalm 91:11 (KJV)
11  For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Matthew 4:6 (KJV)
6  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

3.  Plead the Blood of Jesus over ourselves! The Blood of Jesus is the most powerful element ever released on the planet because it allowed the Holy Spirit to be sent from Heaven.

Ephesians 2:13 (KJV)
13  But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Hebrews 10:19-22 (KJV)
19  Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20  By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21  And having an high priest over the house of God;
22  Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Hebrews 12:24 (KJV)
24  And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Hebrews 13:20-21 (KJV)
20  Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21  Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

4.  Put on the Full Armor of God to start off with recognizing that it is His ways that we are wanting to follow and do. We are saying that we want to be like HIM! Taking on His attributes for our responses to our day.  THIS IS OUR POWER, OUR OBEDIENCE TO HIM!

Ephesians 6:10-18 (KJV)
10  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with the belt of truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God:
18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

5.  Fruit of the Spirit–We want to remember to live by producing the good fruit that should come from our relationship with Him.

Galatians 5:22-26 (KJV)
22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24  And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

In other words, just to make it simple–LOVE does not enable but loves the person, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS AND SELF CONTROL

6. The Aaronic Blessing, which is sometimes called the Priestly Blessing is very exciting when you understand that the Hebrew text of the prayer is a declaration of what the LORD  WILL  DO  FOR  YOU !! Remember, the emphasis is on the WILL DO…check out the many ways the Father wants to bless His children.

The LORD here is the Creator who is Jesus. Jesus is Creator, John 1:1-3, Ephesians 3:9,  Colossians 1:15, but LORD also encompasses the Father and the Holy Spirit because everywhere you see the word LORD with all caps in your Bible, it means the Godhead…all of the Trinity of God.

You can find the blessing in your Bible in Deuteronomy 6:22-26:  And the LORD (YHVH) spoke to Moses saying, “Speak to Aaron and to the sons saying, In this way you will bless the children of Israel, saying to them, “The LORD (YHVH) will bless you and He will keep you. The LORD (YHVH) will make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you.  The LORD (YHVH) will lift up His countenance upon you and He will establish His Shalom for you.  (the word Shalom means quite a bit more than simply peace and in English it would be a complete teaching in addition to this because there are so many facets to the word Shalom in the Hebrew language!)

7.  Lord’s Prayer-  A  fuller understanding of the Lord’s Prayer really is beautiful and I found a great description of it in Sid Roth’s ONE NEW MAN Bible. I think you will be blessed!

Our Father who is in the Heavens, Your Name must immediately be made HOLY, Your Kingdom must now come, Your will must immediately be done, also on on Earth as in Heaven.  You must immediately give us the bread necessary today for our existence,  You must immediately forgive our sins as we have already completely forgiven everyone of every little thing each has done to me. And do not lead us into temptation, but You must continually rescue us from the evil one.

All this can also be prayed for the Seven Mountains of Influence:  Family, Government, Church, Education, Business, Military and Media.
